 The State of Global Air Report 2019 was  released by the Us Health Effects Institute  (HEL) on April 3, 2019. According to this report, health related in India Air pollution and smoking is the third largest cause of hazard deaths. According to the report, nearly 50 million people died in the world in 2017 due to stroke, diabetes, heart attack, lung cancer or chronic lung diseases due to indoors or prolonged outdoor air pollution. 12-12 lakh people in India and China Victims of premature death.

 The report also states that 30 lakh deaths are directly linked to PM 2.5. Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal are the most polluted areas in South Asia. Air pollution is the cause of death of 1.5 lakh people in these countries. The report also revealed that nearly 3.6 billion people in the world were exposed to air pollution while living in homes. According to the report, the life of children born in the current situation in South Asia will be reduced by two-and-a-half years due to hazardous air pollution. The global life expectancy will also be reduced by 20 months.
