World's largest aircraft flight
The world's largest aircraft 'Stratolaunch' launched its maiden flight on April 13, 2019. It was tested over the Mojave Desert (Calif. for about two-and-a-half hours). The wings of the aircraft extend more than a football field.
The aircraft has been manufactured by a company called 'Stolaunch'. The company was built in 2011 by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, one of the world's largest software companies. The aircraft consists of two aircraft bodies which are interlinked. It is powered by six Boeing 747 engines.
Its length is about 238 feet. The modern aircraft weighs 5 lakh pound. The aircraft made its maiden flight at a speed of 189 mph. In addition, British billionaire Richard Brennan's company Virgin Galacticis has built a similar aircraft that can send rockets into space orbit from altitude.

China to build 'Eco Toilet' on Mt. Everest
In an announcement on April 12, 2019, China announced the establishment of an eco-frendli toilet on the world's highest peak to tackle the growing waste problem on Mt. Everest. Considered eco-friendly, these toilets will be built at a Chinese camp on Everest at an altitude of 7028 m. The commercial mountaineering on The Mountain Everest has been on the rise for the past several decades, resulting in a pile of garbage.
