South Korea announced the launch of the world's first 5G network by South Korea on April 4, 2019 - current affairs. 

This came into effect from April 5, 2019. The 5G network will operate 20 times faster than 4G. This is a unique effort in building world technology. 5G will not only increase the internet speed of smartphones, but also internet of things cloud computing, robotics and automated.

There will also be an increase in vehicular operations. This year, world class companies (Samsung and LG) will also launch 5G-friendly devices. By the end of this year, more than 3 million people in South Korea will join 5G consumers.

The G20 summit in Saudi Arabia was announced on April 18, 2019 in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia. This is the first time that the hosting of the G20 summit has been handed over to Saudi Arabia.

The G20 is an organization of finance ministers and central bank governors of the world's 20 most key economies, including 19 countries and the European Union.  It is represented by the President of the European Council and the European Central Bank.
